Accessibility Statement

This is an English translation provided for convenience. If it differs from the Slovenian version, the Slovenian version prevails.

1. What this statement applies to

This statement applies to the online shop www.zeleznina.si, which is operated by ŽELEZNINA, trgovina na debelo in drobno, d.o.o., Partizanska cesta 2, 3320 Velenje.

It has been prepared in accordance with the Accessibility of Products and Services for Persons with Disabilities Act (ZDPSI), which transposes the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882) and applies to e-commerce services from 28 June 2025.

2. Description of the service

In the online shop you can search for and browse products, add them to the basket or to a wish list, place an order with delivery or in-store pickup and pay for it by card, including with Apple Pay or Google Pay. Purchasing is possible with or without a user account. Using the forms in the shop, you can submit a return request, write to us or request the deletion of your data.

3. How the shop meets accessibility requirements

In design and development we follow the SIST EN 301 549 standard, which for websites incorporates the WCAG 2.1 Level AA guidelines. Among other things:

  • the shop works fully with a keyboard; focus is visible and has sufficient contrast;
  • form fields have text labels, required fields are marked as such for screen readers too, and on an error the focus moves to the first incorrectly completed field;
  • success and error notifications and input fields have sufficient colour contrast;
  • decorative images are hidden from screen readers, and content images have a description;
  • galleries and videos that move automatically have a pause button and do not start if the “reduce motion” setting is switched on on your device;
  • the site works with enlarged text and on mobile devices without horizontal scrolling;
  • colour is not the only means of conveying information.

The card payment field is provided by the payment provider Stripe, and the bot check by Cloudflare Turnstile. These two parts of the site are not ours; if they prevent you from making a purchase, we will help you in another way (section 6).

Where a manufacturer or supplier provides us with accessibility information about a product, we publish it on the product page.

4. Compliance status

The online shop is partially compliant with the SIST EN 301 549 standard, or WCAG 2.1, Level AA: there are currently no known non-conformities, but a systematic assessment against the standard has not yet been carried out. Shortcomings identified in internal reviews on 20 August and 4 October 2026 have been remedied.

5. Preparation of this statement

This statement is based on internal code reviews and manual checks (measuring colour contrasts, keyboard operation, automated checking with the Lighthouse tool), carried out on 20 August and 4 October 2026. We have not yet carried out a systematic assessment against the SIST EN 301 549 standard; once we have, we will update this statement.

6. Tell us about a barrier

If there is something on the site that you cannot read, fill in or click, let us know:

  • e-mail: spletna-trgovina@zeleznina.si
  • telephone: +386 65 565 655 (Mon–Fri 9:00–16:00)
  • post: ŽELEZNINA d.o.o., Partizanska cesta 2, 3320 Velenje

State the page and what did not work; if you use assistive tools (e.g. a screen reader), state which ones. We will reply within 8 working days at the latest. If we cannot remove the barrier immediately, we will help you by telephone or e-mail: we will find the product you need, read out or send you the information you cannot read on the site, and guide you through placing an order.

7. Supervision

If you are not satisfied with our reply, or if we do not reply, you may submit a report to the authority that supervises e-commerce services under ZDPSI:
