The low U-shaped post base is designed for fastening wooden posts to concrete, such as in carports, pergolas, terraces, fences, and garden structures. The post is inserted into the U-bracket and secured with bolts through holes in the sides. The bottom of the U-bracket consists of two parts with slots, allowing width adjustment to accommodate post thickness. A short pipe welded to the base plate elevates the post above the ground. This prevents wood contact with moisture and water, thus extending its lifespan. The low design is suitable wherever you want to position the post as close to the ground as possible. The base plate with four holes is fastened to the concrete foundation using bolts or anchors. The galvanized surface protects the bracket against corrosion.
