BEAM SUPPORT

The low U-shaped column support is designed for fastening wooden posts to concrete, for example in carports, pergolas, terraces, fences, and garden sheds. The post is inserted into the U-bracket and fastened with bolts through holes in the sides. The U-bracket is made from a single piece of sheet metal, making the support simple to assemble and very sturdy. A short tube welded to the base plate lifts the post above the ground. This way, the wood is not in contact with moisture and water, extending its life. The low design is suitable wherever you want to position the post as close to the ground as possible. The base plate with four holes is fastened to the concrete foundation with bolts or anchors. The galvanized surface protects the support from corrosion.
